You all have been a blessing to me since we moved to Georgia. When I became choir director, Bill was a great participant. When you temporarily moved to Jasper, I rejoiced that Bill’s singing talents were being used weekly. I was grateful when you returned. It always seems in choir that the silliness and trouble-making came from the back row. During rehearsal, Bill always worked hard on his part, but if there was a chance for goofing around, he was a willing participant. I can still hear his laughter when someone else would pick on the director. My life has been made richer through knowing him. He will be missed. I’m sure he’s singing praises in heaven and is a welcome addition there.

Julia and family,
We were heart broken when we heard of Bill's passing. We loved to hear him sing. He was a friendly and kind person and the epitome of a Christian as your whole family has been. We will miss him greatly but he has received his reward to be with Jesus.

Bill will be missed ! During my 15 year career at PSPD some of the funniest stories I have were with Lt Green. I always tell this story, I was a sergeant and Bill was my Lieutenant. I responded to a mentally ill lady doing damage to her home. I arrived and she was hanging out a top window with no clothes on yelling. She slammed the window just as Bill arrived I tried to tell him what to expect going in but he wouldn’t listen , he goes inside goes up the steps and comes running down yelling “ Oh my God she is nude and it’s bad”. I laughed and still do to this day. Rest In Peace LT .

I knew Bill for quite a while as he worked for Powder Springs. I spent a number of years as an instructor/coordinator at North Central GA Law Enforcement Academy. Bill frequently taught classes for me. Such a good guy!

Bill and I worked many shifts together in Powder Springs. He made me smile alot, especially when he started talking really fast. He kept the job entertaining at times but was very serious when he needed to be. I grew up around Bill and these guys and I always will cherish our time as co workers together. Julia and Richard, my heart goes out to you and your family. I know time has separated us all, but we will always still be part of each others lives. Big hugs. Cheri Brown
