Zac attended Bethune Cookman from 1998-2001 where he received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Education and was the football teams’ punter. He went on to receive his Master of Arts in Physical Education from the University of South Florida in 2012.
Zac became an educator at Atlantic High School; he went on to New Smyrna Beach High School and spent some time at Westside Elementary. He loved teaching and helping his students become better people and to find focus in their lives whether it was through education and/or sports. Zac loved the beach, jet skiing, paddle boarding and relaxing. There was a calmness that he had and shared with anyone that knew him. He made everyone smile and he never knew a stranger, when you met him you were drawn to him.
Zac is survived by his wife Melissa Adrian of Port Orange, Florida; his father Pete Adrian, his mother Christine Adrian of Debary, Florida; his Brother Rocco Adrian, Rocco’s wife Melissa Adrian and their two daughters Reilly & Piera Adrian of Charleston, South Carolina; and his Grandmother Peggy Reilly of McMechen, West Virginia.
A Funeral Mass celebrating the life of Zachary Charles Adrian, 36, of Port Orange will be held on Saturday October 17, 2015 at 12:00pm in the Basilica of St. Paul located at 317 Mullally St, Daytona Beach, FL 32114, with the reception at the Jackie Robinson Baseball Park (the back entrance near the library) located at 105 Orange Ave, Daytona Beach FL 32114.
