Adam was born June 14, 1985 in Hamilton, NY to Mary Conklin and Dennis Youngs. He and his
family moved to Port St. Lucie in 1987, and he attended school in St. Lucie County, including
Fort Pierce Central High School.
Adam enjoyed studying theology and history, and was a talented musician who played several
instruments, including the harmonica and guitar. He was also a lifelong fan of the New York
Mets, and enjoyed attending Spring Training with his uncle.
Adam is survived by his parents, his mother and stepfather, Mary (Conklin) and Daniel Franklin
of Port St. Lucie; his father and his partner, Dennis Youngs and Janice Goodwin of Altha, FL;
Also surviving are his sister, Molly Youngs of Port St. Lucie; his grandmother, Linda Youngs of
Norwich, NY; his uncles, Phillip Conklin of Port St. Lucie, Dean (Patricia) Youngs of Sherburne,
NY, Mark Youngs of Smyrna, NY, and Duncan Youngs of Norwich, NY; his cousins, Ashley
Aikins of Norwich, NY, Matthew Youngs of Sherburne, NY, Erin (Scott) Mazei of Phoenixville,
PA, Sarah (Matthew) Lashway of Afton, NY, Chad Youngs of Sherburne, NY, Eric (Britteny)
Youngs of Sherburne, NY, Zachariah Youngs of Norwich, NY, Megan Youngs of Englewood,
FL, and Alyssa Youngs of West Palm Beach, FL; and also many extended family members and
friends.
Adam was predeceased by three of his grandparents, Esther (DuVall) Youngs, Charles Conklin,
and Floyd Youngs; his aunt, Elizabeth (Conklin) Youngs; and his cousin, Jenna Youngs.
