Mr. Ortiz is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Nelida Ortiz; daughters, Beverly Decelles and Rebecca Ortiz-Luce; grandchildren, Michael Luce, III and Connor Luce; and many other family members and friends.
Mr. Ortiz was an active member of the Fort Pierce Master Gardeners.
Visitation will be held 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, January 7, at Aycock Funeral Home – Byrd, Young & Prill Chapel, 1170 SW Bayshore BLVD, Port St. Lucie, FL 34983, where funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. Interment will follow at Fernhill Memorial Gardens in Stuart, Florida.
