Andrew grew up in New York City and Queens attending Catholic schools through college; he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, and a minor in physics from St. John’s University.
He started in the financial services industry after college with the American Stock Exchange and went on to hold several compliance positions and was a certified mediator, arbitrator for FINRA, as well as an expert witness.
He is survived by his wife, Sarah, daughters Elisabeth Greitz and Jennifer Puma, granddaughters Rebecca and Joy Puma, sister Barbara Mahoney, nieces Kathleen, Patricia, Teresa, Mary and nephew Frank, and of course Saoirse.
He was predeceased by his parents Andrew Sr. and Mildred, brother-in-law Norman Mahoney, and numerous aunts and uncles.
