Bonnie J. Rose, previously of Fort Wayne, IN, passed away peacefully on November 4, 2024 at home in Port St. Lucie, FL. She was born October 12, 1936, to Paul and Mabel Carpenter. She was baptized and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church. She retired from Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation in 2004.
Bonnie devoted much of her life caring for all she loved through preparing meals and spending quality time; additionally, she volunteered with her church family at the thrift store at Trinity Lutheran Church in Fort Wayne. Bonnie’s greatest pride and joy came from her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and she thrived in showing them off through photographs she acquired through the years.
Bonnie is survived by her son, Norm (Jeanne) Hoffman, daughter Jean (Rick) Sholl, and stepdaughter Tina (Tom) Hiser. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Robert Rose and daughter Janet Nierman.
