We are heartbroken by the loss of Carl A Borge, an amazing husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Carl lost his battle against Cancer on March 20, 2021. Just like every experience in life Carl managed his illness with strength, bravery, confidence, and selflessness. On his final days he was surrounded by his loving family.
Carl was born on March 23, 1955 in Brooklyn, New York. He is a proud U.S. AIR FORCE Veteran who loved his country and has been a well known General Contractor in South Florida for many years. Carl was always there for everyone and was known to be a force and the backbone of the family. In his earlier years he was a race car driver living in the fast lane, honoring the number 32. That number has since been proudly adopted by many family members. In more recent years Carl took on the motto “Life is better at the lake.” Many beautiful memories were made at his “happy place” with family and friends fishing, boating, jet skiing, grilling, and taking in the beautiful lake sunsets.
Carl is survived by his devoted wife Amanda Borge; 5 beloved children, Nicole (David) Hayes, Christine Borge, Michael Borge, Devon Borge, and Connor Borge. His adoring granddaughter Isabella Perez, his 3 sisters Alberta (Charles) Menegio, Maureen Borge, and Frances (George) Giannini. Along with many cousins, nieces, and nephews from his large Italian family.
Carl is preceded in death by his parents Morris and Mary Borge and his brother JR
In lieu of flowers donations can be sent in honor of Carl to the Disabled American Veterans.
