What a precious lady and neighbor Mr. Brady was. She always shared Our Daily Bread devotional every month with us. Her presence in the neighborhood will be missed. She was always out in her yard keeping it clear of sticks and debris. She  always had a friendly smile and a wave for every neighbor and even the garbageman. 

Our condolences

I wish to express my sincere condolences to the family of Sis. Daphne Brady;  my wife and I have benefited greatly from her love and warm friendship since 1999 when we took  up residence in the neighborhood. I pray that the peace of God that passes all understanding will give you comfort as you mourn her passing. I am a little jealous, because she will see, and and be greeted by my beloved Jan who is already there.

Kay and family please accept my deepest heart felt condolences in the loss of your mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

May the sweet comfort of the Holy Spirit rest upon you all. May you feel the warmth embrace of our Great God and Savior Jesus Christ.

I would ride the neighborhood and see this beautiful lady tending her garden and would say good morning.

After meeting Kay in February 2022, I was officially invited to meet Mother Daphne who was warm and welcoming.  Of course she wanted to know if I had a personal relationship with the Lord.
Upon verification that I did , on my consequent visits we would talk  and share our faith and  sometimes pray together.

It was my joy and delight helping her with her gardening and listening to her stories of life and faith.  She was warm and open and welcomed me into her home, shared her flowers and gave me words of wisdom.

When I visited her on April 13 to say hello and tell her, see you in July, I did not imagine it would be our last time together. 

Rest in Peace  Woman of God . 
You did run well. Faithful is your God .

Mom, you didn't give birth to me, but you claimed me since 1985. You embraced me and my children as your own. In challenging times, you were a listening ear, and in good times, you were the first to celebrate. You lived a good life, centered around God and family.  Rest now in the arms of God. Until we meet again. Verona, or Vivette as you always called me.

To the family of Ms Daphney Brady heart felt condolences to you during your time of grief, I came to know and loved your mom over the years and she was a wonderful person. Mom and I shared a passion for the garden so whenever  I visited my dear friend Kay I would make time to speak with mom about her plants. I’ve  enjoyed knowing her  and May her soul rest in peace until we all see her again. Kay I love you as a sister  but as you know circumstances prevented me from being here with you in your time of sorrow. God loved you and he will see you through. It is with great pleasure,I embrace this opportunity to reflect on my friendship with Sister Daphne Brady. 
 I first met her  approximately  18 years  ago. One morning I was in the yard,,Sister Brady was on her morning exercise  walk. She stopped, introduced herself to me and invited  me to a Wednesday  morning pray meeting at her home.
For years whenever I'm  in PSL I would attend the prayer meeting. I also maintained telephone contact with her from my home in NY. 
Sister  Brady was always passionate about serving the LORD. She always reminded me, as believers we must
!.Get ready
2.Stay ready 
3.Be ready to meet God. 
I believe Sister Brady was ready  and prepared to meet the LORD. 
Rest in peace my dear Sister. One day we will be reunited and so will  we forever be with the LORD.

We are  heartbroken to hear about your mother’s passing. Please accept our deepest condolences. Though many years have passed since grandma Brady  lovingly cared for our son, Shaun, the memories of her kindness, warmth, and generosity of spirit have never faded. She had a way of making everyone feel welcome, and her good character left a lasting impression on our family.
