

Dudley Marsh, loving husband of Ricka Marsh and father of three sons and one daughter, passed away on Wednesday August 31, 2022 at the age of 87 years. Dudley was born on June 6, 1935 to Norman Marsh and Tomlin Murphy of Fellowship Hall, Saint Mary, Jamaica W.I.
Dudley graduated from Ramble All-Age School, St. Mary. He became an entrepreneur early in his adult life. As owner and operator of a trucking business he mentored and provided employment to several young men in his community.
Dudley met and married Ricka (nee Lakeman) in 1972 at Ocho Rios United Methodist Church – Jamaica. In 1980 they migrated together to Boston, Massachusetts where they lived for 35 years. In February, 2000 Dudley retired from Wonder Bread Baking Co. where he worked for 19 years. He and his wife then moved to Port St. Lucie, Florida in September 2015.
Dudley was a member of Parkway United Methodist Church and the UMM Group in Milton, MA. He loved his family, his church, job and his many friends in Massachusetts. However he was determined to retire to someplace sunny and warm.
In St. Lucie he was a member of First United Methodist Church at 260 SW Prima Vista Blvd. where he remained an active member until the time of his death.
Dudley loved travelling to other parts of the world. He went on cruises to places including Hawaii, Spain, Panama Canal and the Caribbean Islands where he always ends up on a beach. He loved swimming in the ocean. His hobbies were playing cricket, dominoes and working in his yard.
Dudley leaves to mourn him his loving wife of 49+ years Ricka Marsh (Nee Lakeman), daughter Angelleta Myers, sons; Anthony, Warren and Dexter, 7 grandchildren, 2 sisters; Amy Marsh Brown and Norma Anderson Brown, Brother Irving Marsh, 8 nieces, 10 nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He will be missed.
