In this life, some treasures are buried and never come into view. But George was an open treasure that just glowed, and glowed and glowed. so that all those who would take notice could be privileged to see and be inspired and benefit from. I worked with George for many years in Barbados. He was my mentor and a friend.  It was a joy to reconnect with him in Florida when I was able to visit. My family and I offer our sympathy to Ann, Danielle and family.

Uncle Georgie was the most laidback, dexterous, and enterprising person I've ever known; quietly encouraging, supportive, and thoughtful in equal measure. He always made me feel like my dreams were possible, if he could help in any way, he would, and that he was just waiting to applaud from the sidelines. He was generous, loving, and quick to laugh.

In short, he was a good and great person!
