It’s been a year since you left us, our friend.  Miss you within the music community, on the golf course, going to St. Lucie Mets games, playing trivia, coffee at Starbucks, discussing Catholicism, and going out to eat.  Mostly we miss your conversations, laughter and presence.  You left way too soon.  Sorely missed.

I am saddened to learn of Glenn's passing.  In the waning years of our bachelorhood,  I was lucky enough to share some memorable  adventures with Glenn and our pals like motorcycling to the Cape and Atlantic City, skiing Sugarloaf and renting  on Newton Street Hartford.   The posted photo shows the same Glenn I remember from forty years ago,  the "Big Guy" with the BIG  personality to match.

So sorry to hear of Glenn's passing.  Glenn and I worked together for many years at UnitedHealth Group.  A few of us were discussing the many happy memories that we had with Glenn while working with him.  He will be missed. 

We have known Glenn for about 4 years having met him through the Pt. St. Lucie Community Band (PSLCB), where he served on the board.  He loved playing the trumpet with PSLCB, the Treasure Coast Orchestra  and the Indian River State College wind ensemble and jazz band.    He enjoyed subbing with the Dreamers at Shuckers, too, on Hutchinson Island and attending performances of the For Dancers Only jazz band at the Black Box in Ft. Pierce.  He volunteered at Oak Hammock elementary school where he mentored  students playing trumpet.  He was a big fan of the Buffalo Bills and joined in the celebrations at the Buffalo Chophouse.  He enjoyed going to see the New York Mets in Spring Training and the St. Lucie Mets on “2 for 2 night”.   He played golf at St. James and St. Lucie Trail and was a great contributor  at weekly Trivia games at the club.  He also was in a nearby bowling league.  He loved going for coffee at Starbucks after rehearsals and would sit for hours with us in conversation.  He attended St. Bernadette’s Catholic Church.  He was an easy friend to have and will be sorely missed.  Our condolences to Doug and family and his sons.  

I had the privilege  of working with Glenn at United Health Group for a number of years. He always had a smile for everyone. Along with a great sense of humor. I was lucky to count him as a friend. One of my favorite memories was an afternoon of golf at Rockledge in Portland, CT with Glenn and 2 other co- workers.  The course is aptly named. Our golf drives spent more time bouncing off rocks than anything else. I can still hear Glenn laughing and swearing in my memory of that day. He will be missed.
