we are all actors and life is a big and endless theatrical show.We come on scene Just to play our little piece and once we're done playing, we return for ever behind the curtains.Sooner or later,our time and our turn to finish playing and leave the show will pop up.And we will all meet again,someday, behind the curtains,at the end of our nplay.

Biography

Henry Jocelyn Etienne, 70, of Port St. Lucie, FL passed from this life into eternal life on Thursday, January 7, 2021.

Henry was born on July 22, 1950 in Hinche, Haiti to the late Joseph Ducasse Etienne and Babylasse Farnèse Ducheine. He completed Primaire: Ecole Charlemagne Péralte, Hinche, Haiti, Secondaire: Lycée Dumarsais Estimé Hinche, Philo: Lycée Pétion Port-au-Prince, Haiti, and Comptabilité: Chez Julien Craan. He worked at Hatrexco in Port-au-Prince, Haiti.

In 1978 and later migrated to the United States in 1980 where he lived in Boston, Massachusetts. Henry was very intelligent and wise. Education was very important to him complying with his haitian culture. He received a certificate from Northeast Institute of Industrial Technology (Electronics Technology) in 1985, later went to Youville Hospital Practical School of Nursing (LPN) in 1990. Afterwards, Henry attended Mass Bay Community College and received his Registered Nurse degree in 1995 and worked at Walter E. Fernald State School Developmental Center.

In 1997, Henry was happily married to Rose-Laure Faiteau and later moved to Port St. Lucie, FL in 1999; his partner in life for 24 loving years. He had recently retired after a successful career as a Registered Nurse Supervisor in Port St. Lucie in 2020.

Henry, a gifted yet personable husband and father, spent most of his time traveling with his wife Rose-Laure, going on cruises, spending quality time with his children, visiting family out of state and attending various special family events. Henry loved his outdoor activities such as walking, and catering to his plants especially his famous Mango Trees. He also was a devout member of The Eglise Haitienne Bethanie de L’Alliance and sang in their male choir group. He was very involved in the Faiteau Family Divine Grace Prayer line and would preach the word of God yet provided powerful testimonies. Henry’s bright smile and humorous personality touched many lives with his generosity and passion for life.

Henry’s memory will be cherished and kept alive by his adoring wife Rose-Laure Faiteau; Henry’s 5 children (Watson J. Etienne, Jenny J. Etienne Favard married to Renel Favard, Steve J. Etienne, Joline J. Etienne, Ronald J. Dumornay); 2 step-daughters Stephanie Bousseau Jerome married to Peters H. Jerome, and Deborah Bousseau Lucien married to Marcel Lucien; 6 Grandchildren (Nathaniel Etienne, Isaiah Etienne, Saniyah Etienne, Kevin Favard, Marvin Favard, Joslyn Dumornay); 3 Step-Grandchildren (Jaheim R.Calixte, Jonhenry Calixte, Pierce J. Jerome); Sisters: Dozette Renande Bernadeau married to Betengo Bernadeau, Anide Etienne married to Ronald Oge, and Marie Denise Etienne; Brothers: Borge Etienne married to Rose-Laure Etienne, and Jean Hugo Etienne; Other Siblings(Claudel, Jean Alix, Nadia, Herby, Chédeline, Youseline, Ducnise and Kernan); many uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends.

Henry is predeceased by his parents Joseph Ducasse Etienne & Babylasse Farnese Ducheine and brother Claude Etienne.
