Jim is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Sandra; two sons, James “Chubba” C. Nelson, III, and his wife, Malaefono “Tina” Nelson, and Jeffrey Nelson, and his wife, Anne; stepson, Deder Barnes; stepdaughter, Kimberly Ruppuhn, and her husband, Dereck; grandchildren, Sitofa, Amu, James, IV, Saj, Mister, Natalie, Ashley, and Koral; great granddaughter, Lily; and many other loving family members and friends.
