James was born in Pittsburgh, PA.
He is survived by his brothers, Jonathan D. Sharpe and Stephen C. Sharpe; sisters, Deborah R. Daige and Joanna M. Sharpe; and his beloved cat, Muffin.
He dearly loved his lord and savior, Jesus Christ, his country, his family, and his friends. James worked in construction, restaurants, and most recently as a caregiver. He enjoyed gardening, bodybuilding, and collecting teapots.
Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, July 22, at White City Cemetery.
