John Michael Morabito

John was born January 3, 1946 in Brooklyn, NY to Frank and Helen (Martarano) Morabito.

The family relocated to south Florida in 1955, where John graduated from Hialeah High School in 1965.

John’s dream was to play major league baseball, and his dream almost came true. A senior at Hialeah High School, John was scouted by the Los Angeles Dodgers. But that dream was never to happen, because John chose to join the Army to fight for his country.

John did construction work for his adult life for many major, high end home builders, from Miami to Orlando. He was the guy everyone called upon when help was needed.

John is survived by his brother, Michael (Cindy) Morabito; aunt, Grace Ciancimino; niece, Jennifer Schultz and cousins George and Joann Donnelly, Michael and Helaine Ciancimino and Vincent Ciancimino.

An informal gathering of family and friends to celebrate his life will be held Sunday April 30, 2023 at 12:00 pm at Aycock at Tradition, 12571 SW Tradition Pkwy, Port St Lucie, FL.
