He leaves his beloved wife of 55 years, Brenda A (McGovern) Nadolski; his five loving sons, Joseph F. Nadolski of Florida; Robert E. Nadolski of Atlanta, GA; Michael B. Nadolski and his wife Nancy of Portland, CT; David W. Nadolski and his wife Laura of Upton, MA; and Kenneth Nadolski and his wife Michele of Grafton, MA; his grandchildren Samantha, Joseph, Isabella, Katie, Julia, Emma, Nathan, and Ryan Nadolski; and Nina and Brandon Dow. He was predeceased by his brother Thomas P. Nadolski.
He was born in Webster, Massachusetts, a son of the late Edward and Agnes P. (Papierski) Nadolski. Spending his formative years in Webster he graduated from Webster High School before attending Lowell Technical Institute - now part of University of Massachusetts Lowell - earning a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering.
He began his professional career engaged in the United States “space race” helping design and optimize the manufacturing process of space suites used in NASA’s Apollo missions with David Clarke company. Afterwards, he brought his expertise to the abrasive industry spending twenty years at Bay State Abrasives in Westborough, MA. As increased globalization in the 1980s and 90s killed the American abrasive manufacturing industry, he was forced to recreate himself and he joined his wife in her fiber art sculpting studio. For about 20 years he and Brenda would bring to life fabric and fibers sculpting dolls, clowns and balloons that found their way to the homes and offices across the nation bringing joy to girls and boys; clown lovers and hot air balloon enthusiasts. They spent a considerable amount of time showing their art at fairs, exhibits, and art-shows across the nation until his health declined as the dementia curtailed his ability to work and travel.
Throughout the years he found great joy spending time with his family. He enjoyed traveling, polka music and dancing with his wife. He enjoyed spending time with his son’s, he was a Boy Scout Leader for his boys and his engineering skills help bring many trophies in the annual “pine wood derby”. In his later years he found joy the time he was able to be with and play with his grandkids.
