Kathryn Patricia Ghnouly

May 16, 1939 – June 2, 2026

Kathryn Patricia Ghnouly passed at home on June 2, 2026, at the age of 87, in the care of her husband, John, son Robert Barone, Robert’s wife Ann Marie and a Treasure Coast Hospice care team.

Kathryn was known as Pat to family and friends. She was married to John for 45 years, and was the devoted mother to Robert, his wife Ann Marie and her late son Kevin. Pat was the grandmother of Samantha Barone and Jessica Barone. She is also survived by her nieces Kathy Long and Carol Joseph, and nephew John Lake, Jr. Her brother John Lake proceeded her in death.

Pat lived her life in New Jersey. She graduated from Irvington High School. She made a home with her husband John in Sparta, New Jersey while employed as an accountant with Douglass Engineering in Rockaway, NJ. After retirement, Pat and John moved Westlake Golf and Country Club. She was involved in community events, dancing and singing in the church choir. She served as a Eucharistic Minister for the parish for Saint Aloysius Church.

Pat had a great love for her companion animals. She was a master cook and enjoyed entertaining family and friends.

In 2018 Pat and John moved to Port St. Lucie, Florida. Making their home in the PGA Verano Community.

A mass will be devoted to Pat at a later date.
