Nell Corrine Rogers, 79, passed away on July 12, 2017 at her residence in Port St. Lucie, FL. Born in Payton, Kentucky, Ms. Rogers moved to the St. Lucie area in 1981. She was a bank manager for twenty-five years in Montgomery County, Md. She opened her own business in 1984, Day Dreams Uniforms in the Village Green Shopping Center, Port St. Lucie and a few years later added The Monogram Shop. In 1991, she opened a second location in Stuart with her daughter and son. She is truly loved by her family and respected by many in her community and will be greatly missed. She was active with community events while running her business, and served on the Board of Chamber of Commerce for a number of years. Ms. Rogers is survived by her significant other of 30 years, Jim Roach of Port St. Lucie, FL; daughter, Diane Selent of Hobe Sound, FL; son, Bob Rogers of Port St. Lucie, FL; granddaughters, Nicole Rogers, Allison Rogers and Madison Selent; brothers and sisters, Rexford Wells, Aubrey Wells, and Sharon Pelfrey. She is also survived by her niece, Vicki Renee Lewis and nephew, Larry Wells. She was predeceased by her brothers and sisters, Florence Mitchell, Venice Nickell, Durward Wells, Juanita Wells, Alvis Little, Denzil Wells, Betty Haney, Rosemary Lewis, James Wells, Walter Wells, Randy Wells, Lucille Campbell and her parents Lula Wells and Arthur Wells. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2017 from 12:00PM-1:00PM at Aycock Funeral Home, 505 S. Federal Highway in Stuart with a Funeral Service to begin at 1:00PM.
