I have some fond memories of time spent with my uncle during my early years and I am so thankful I was afforded the opportunity to spend some quality time with him during his last few days on earth. Regardless of what life throws at us, family matters. The few days I spent with him this past February has deeply impacted and strengthened my faith in God even more. The last words I heard him utter still rings in my mind almost daily, ”don’t worry about me, go home and prepare for the coming of the Almighty God”. Those prophetic words cannot be ignored and I thank God for using my uncle to remind us of His coming. I am thankful Uncle Noel had the opportunity to publicly asked God to forgive him of his sins. I am thankful that we serve a long suffering, patient and loving God who is always ready to receive us with open arms. It warms my heart to know Uncle Noel is now in a better place. Rest In Peace Uncle Noel, I look forward to seeing you on the other side one day very soon.
