Pat was a great friend and she will always be in my heart.

So very sad to learn of Pat’s passing!  She was a wonderful, dedicated, and caring person who felt so proud of her family.  One of my just conversations with her was about how proud she was of them, especially Joe when he guided her through giving up her home and transitioning into another phase of her life.  I knew and worked with Pat for more than 40 years.  May she rest in PEACE!

While I didn’t know Ms. Sheehan, I do know her granddaughter Chyanne and if she is the measure of this great lady then Ms. Sheehan’s memory will never fade. Rest In Sweet Peace & Grace.

Aunt Pat was truly one of a kind.  I have so many fond memories of Aunt Pat & Artie as a kid - all the times we spent at her house in NY, many family gatherings, block parties - I even remember a hurricane evacuation where she just took in our family of 6 for about a week (and we were all a handful!).  I remember times with extended family up at her place at Eagle Lake in PA.  I especially loved our many visits to Florida, staying with her and Artie and making trips to Disney when I was a kid, and then continuing the Disney tradition with many trips with the next generation of girls - Chyanne, Caitlin, Vanessa and Danielle. I can certainly thank Aunt Pat for creating my love of Disney that now continues on often with my own children!  Aunt Pat welcomed everyone and was a strong, loving and determined woman. It was so nice to visit with family this week and reminisce and laugh about great stories from the past - including some that I was too young to recall.  Thank you Aunt Pat for being an integral part of so many of my childhood memories.  

As I got older, there were family weddings (Pat and my mom could always be found on the dance floor!), the infamous birthday celebrations for Pat and Artie, her trip to Boston, and summer visits to Westhampton, and her coming to visit my boys.  We were honored to have them both be part of our own wedding, having Aunt Pat as a reader in church, and Uncle Artie signing for my dance with my dad. We will cherish that always. 

Aunt Pat and my mom had such a special relationship - so much love and support with that truly unbreakable bond as sisters. I know it was such a big loss for her as well when my mom passed away.  In one of our last few conversations, she comforted me about May - “I know next month will be a rough one for all of us but all I can say to you, remember the happy times, memories get us through the hard times.”  Such very true words - we’ll  remember them now especially.

I’m so very sorry to hear of the loss of this beautiful lady! I remember her as Aunt Pat who was  just as cool fun and kind as Aunt Carol. So many childhood memories of mine are surrounded by these two amazing women. I know they are dancing hand in hand together in heaven

There are people in this world who leave a lasting impression, Pat was one of them.  Pat was my mentor from a far when I entered the world of recruitment. I looked up to her , learned from her and modeled many aspects of my career after her. Beyond being my mentor, Pat became a close friend  and  adopted-mom  after my mother's passing. She was always willing to be a sounding board and provided advice and guidance as I raised my son, navigated a divorce, remarried and changed jobs.
After Pat retired our communication was less frequent, but we stayed in touch through FaceBook and yearly Christmas cards. Pat loved her family and was so very proud of her children and grandchildren.
My heart is heavy with her passing, but I know she is with Art, in a better place, and our paths will cross again.
Rest in peace dear friend. Your legacy will live on.

Pat and I made our first holy communion together in Springfield Gardens,N.Y in 1946.  She reconnected with me 75 years later .It was so fun to see her again.Her kids and grandkids were the love of her life. I am very sorry for your loss.

She is survived by her daughter Joanne Mullings Reese and her son Joseph Mullings and his wife Lynn Kertesz Mullings. She leaves behind her grandchildren Chyanne Reese, Caitlin Reese, Mathew Mullings, and Quinn Mullings.
