Pauline was born to Kenneth and Alice Williams on August 8, 1951, in Pedro River, St. Ann, Jamaica, as a twin to her sister Paulette. The Williams had a bountiful family, having 15 children and raising two sets of twins. Pauline met her husband, Donald Forrester, in 1970 in Kingston, Jamaica. They had three beautiful daughters through their marriage: Kim, Tamika, and Latoya.
In 1978, Pauline became a strong believer in the Lord Jesus Christ and felt the leading of the Holy Spirit to be used in the Kingdom of God. Pauline immigrated with her family to Brooklyn, NY, USA. She was planted at Grace Church of the First Born in Brooklyn, NY. There, she would serve as a church secretary, Sunday School Superintendent, and choir member, dedicated to nourishing hundreds of children and young adults who attended the church. She would also give herself to teach, pray, and evangelize at her church home in the Brooklyn Tabernacle, Brooklyn, NY.
Pauline was a banker for three decades, ending her career as a branch manager with Chase Bank in the late 1990s. In the early 2000s, Pauline worked as a New York City Public School guidance counselor until she retired in 2013. The following year, Pauline would become a resident of Florida and move to Port St. Lucie. God would lead her to Calvary PSL, Port St. Lucie, FL, and she would again use her spiritual gifts in the Mission of God to minister to the souls of His Kingdom.
As a continuous learner, Pauline obtained a bachelor's degree in business administration from City College of New York (CUNY), Medgar Evers College, Brooklyn, NY, and two master’s degrees, one in early childhood education and another in special education, both from CUNY Brooklyn College, Brooklyn, NY.
Pauline was preceded in death by one sister and one brother. She is survived by her husband, three daughters, three sons-in-law, eight grandchildren, and two great-grandsons. Pauline is also survived by her 12 siblings, nieces, nephews, a large extended family, church family, friends, and loved ones.
She was a lover of God, loving wife and mother, Nana, sister, aunt, teacher, counselor, avid reader, gardener, cook, and lover of all God’s children.
She will be missed by all, but God has called, and she has answered and now rests securely in His arms.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Pauline's memory may be made to ALZHEIMER'S ASSOCIATION, www.act.alz.org; or ST JUDE CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL, https://www.stjude.org/.
