Ralph was the beloved husband of Carolyn Filippi Cholewinski. Their story began with a blind date in 1988, and exactly one year later, they were married in Las Vegas. What began with that chance introduction grew into nearly four decades of marriage and a life filled with love, companionship, travel, laughter, and countless memories.
Ralph and Carolyn genuinely enjoyed sharing life together. Whether they were traveling, playing golf, or simply spending time by one another's side, they found happiness in being together. Ralph's presence had a way of making even the ordinary moments of life feel meaningful, and the life he and Carolyn built together was one of his greatest joys.
Ralph spent the majority of his career with Florida Power & Light, where he worked as a procurement specialist. He took great pride in his work and especially valued the many friendships he formed during his years with the company.
An avid golfer, Ralph had a lifelong love for the game. Golf was more than a pastime for him; it was something that brought him tremendous enjoyment throughout his life, particularly when he was able to share a round with Carolyn and friends.
Above all, Ralph will be remembered for the life he shared with the people he loved. He is survived by his devoted wife, Carolyn; his brother, Ronald Cholewinski; his niece, Laura McFeely and her husband, Bill; his great-niece and great-nephew; and many cousins and extended family members who will deeply miss him. Ralph was preceded in death by his loving parents, Ralph John Cholewinski Sr. and Mary Cholewinski.
Those who loved Ralph will miss his presence more than words can express. The memories made with him, the friendships he formed, and the life he shared with Carolyn and his family will continue to be cherished for years to come.
A private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that those wishing to honor Ralph's memory consider making a donation to St. Jude Children's Research
Hospital
