Richard “Dick” Albert Skepnek, 89, was born October 17, 1934 in Chicago, Illinois to parents Andrew and Mary Helen. He passed away in Florida on July 3rd, 2024. He was married to the late Alva May (Harbecek) for 67 years. He is survived by his children Drew (Pam), Carolyn, Geralyn, Randy (Kelly), Rusty (Andrea), Richard (Barbra) and Roger. He had 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
He was lifelong Chicago Cubs fan and loved the St. Lucie Mets, too. His hobbies including breeding fish and working in the yard.
He will be missed by all.
A Visitation for Richard will be held Tuesday, July 16, 2024 from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM at Aycock at Tradition, 12571 Tradition Parkway, Port St. Lucie, FL 34987.
A Mass of Christian Burial at St. Bernadette Catholic Church will occur Tuesday, July 16, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at 350 NW California Blvd, Port St. Lucie, FL 34986, followed by a Committal Service at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens will occur Tuesday, July 16, 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM.
