Robert Ray Cheek, native son of Indiana, has passed peacefully at his home in Vero Beach, Florida on the second of August of the year twenty twenty-one. At the age of 72, Robert Ray Cheek has joined his family in Heaven. He is survived by his loving wife Ofelia, his four children, Barbara, Robert, Danny, and Catherine with husband Brad. He is also survived by his two brothers, Danny and Charles, and 5 grandchildren.
He leaves us with a wealth of love, knowledge and wisdom he has shared during his brief time on this earth. A proud Vietnam Veteran, husband, father, brother, friend, he instilled his love of family, loyalty, pride, ethics and integrity with whomever he came in contact with. He was never shy with his faith in God. He called on God often for others to find their way as he did. Marked in his bible, we found the following verse:
Ecclesiastes 3:11
He has made everything beautiful in its time.
