

Savino “Dick” Torelli, 97, Port St. Lucie, passed away, Thursday, April 9, 2015 at St. Lucie Medical Center in Port St. Lucie, FL. Savino was born in Corato, Italy. He had been a resident of Port St. Lucie for the past thirty-two years coming from Ozone Park, New York. He served in the United States Army Air Corp assigned to 320th Fighter Control Squadron in the Pacific Theatre including Guadalcanal for over 3 years during World War II. At the age of 95 he made the Honor Flight trip to Washington D.C . with his grandson, Nick. He was also a member of St. Lucie Catholic Church in Port St. Lucie, FL. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 67 years, Carmen “Connie” Torelli. Survivors include his two sons, Peter J. Torelli of Port St. Lucie, FL; Louis D. and his wife Jean Torelli of Fairfax, CA; two grandchildren, Nicholas and his fiancé’ Marisa and Stefan Torelli. Visitation will be held from 12:00 -3:00 pm & 6:00 -8:00pm, Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at Aycock FH-Byrd, Young & Prill Chapel, 1170 SW Bayshore Blvd, Port St. Lucie, FL 34983, tel # (772) 879- 9300. A Funeral Mass will be held at 9:30 am, Thursday, April 16, 2015 at St. Lucie Catholic Church in Port St. Lucie, FL. Burial will follow at White City Cemetery in Ft.
