Stephen Robert Kress

Stephen “Steve” Robert Kress, 66, a resident of Port St. Lucie, Florida, passed away Saturday, March 24, 2018.

Steve was born in Detroit, Michigan and resided in Florida for 23 years. He was a proud Lineman for 43 years and a member of the IBEW. He was also a veteran of the United States Army.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Dorothy Kress. He is survived by his loving wife, Cheryl Kress; daughter, Cristy (Dave) Joslin; brother, Gary Kress; sister, Tracey (Cliff) Chaffee; brothers-in-law, Paul and Marc (Wendy) Semande; sister-in-law, Pam Powell; grandchildren, Taylor and Aaron; nephews, Colin, David (Allison), Evan (Jessie), Alex (Brittney), Chase, Paul III (Kari), Shawn, and Scott; niece, Lauren (Rick); and all of his IBEW Brothers; and his loyal companions, Toby and Lucky.

Visitation will be held 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday, March 29, at Aycock Funeral Home – Byrd, Young & Prill Chapel, 1170 SW Bayshore Blvd, Port St. Lucie, FL 34983, where memorial services will be held at 2 p.m.
