Susan was born in Brooklyn, NY, and lived in Sharon, MA for 25 years and Port St. Lucie, FL for 18 years. Susan had many passions, including baking, singing, volunteering her time, spending time with her grandchildren and friends, making others laugh and Neil Diamond.
Susan is survived by her daughters, Samantha Soares and Melissa Strassberg; grandchildren, Meadow and Leo; sister, Mindy; and her beloved cat, Boo. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis, and mother, Miriam.
A service will be held on July 5, 2023 at 1pm at Aycock at Tradition Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Fernhill Memorial Gardens in Stuart, FL.
The family asks that donations to the Humane Society be made instead of flowers or other gifts.
