Thomas Henry “TeeJay” Heinlein passed away in Port St. Lucie, Florida on Saturday, February 8th, 2020. He was born on February 23, 1988 in San Diego, California. He is survived by his parents (Thomas and Karen Heinlein), sister (Dana Heinlein), Paternal Grandfather (Henry Heinlein), Maternal Grandparents (Kenneth and Janice Cochran), daughters (Leilani Marie and Callie Ann), aunts and uncles, cousins, and many other family members and friends. He was raised in San Diego, California as a child and lived in Guam and Hawaii before moving to Port Saint Lucie, FL in 2000.
Many knew him as an amazing father and his biggest accomplishment in life was his two daughters, Leilani Marie and Callie Ann. He is “Poppa Bear” and did anything for them. He loved his children with his whole heart. He was often seen in pictures with his daughters so full of life, being goofy, or spreading the message of “Peace and Love”. He had a smile that would light up the room especially when his daughters were around. He loved to spend time with family in general.
Not only was he an amazing father, but he was a giver. TeeJay had the biggest heart of anyone. Always willing to go the extra mile, it didn’t matter the circumstances. He was always there to lend a hand. Listen when you needed to be listened to. A shoulder to lean on. He walked to his own beat and wanted to spread positivity to everyone he touched.
He was a Welder in Palm Beach, Florida and worked for the United Association of Plumbers, Pipefitters & A/C Technicians Local Union 630 (Palm Beach County) where he started his career as an apprentice. He worked his way through the years and perfected his craft. He always said he had the “golden arm”. Welding was his passion for work. He made a lifetime career as he went to the Union for schooling and was currently working as a Foreman at John J. Kirlin, LLC.
His family and friends are extremely devastated with his death and he will forever be in their hearts, thoughts, and prayers. Family, friends, and others whose lives were touched in any way are invited to the Aycock at Tradition Funeral Home located at 12571 Tradition Parkway, Port Saint Lucie, Florida on Thursday, February 13, 2020 from 4:00pm-9:00pm.
