

Tim was born on 04/04/1938 to John and Anne Condon in Brooklyn, NY. After graduating from St Francis Prep, he enlisted in the Navy and proudly served on the USS Leyte for 2 years. Tim than dedicated his life to public service as a NYPD police officer for 20 years. Tim was commended for starting the first Youth Unit, actively raised money to purchase safety vests for his precinct, and helped train fellow officers on the new computer technology in their squad cars. Tim moved his family to Long Island in 1974 and after retiring from NYPD, he continued to serve his community as a Private Investigator owning his own business called Condon and Coyle. Tim commuted from his town of Farmingdale to NYC until the age of 65. His final occupation was Fire Safety and Security Director for Paramount Group Inc. South Street Seaport. He was a proud New Yorker!
Our beloved Tim was a compassionate man who volunteered a tremendous amount of his time to the Catholic church. He served as a Eucharistic Minister, helped the Outreach Programs, supported immigrants in getting naturalized, and part of the Pre-Cana program with his beautiful wife Pat. He was a sports enthusiast rooting for NY teams and was a strong athlete who loved friendly competition in tennis, bocci, mini golf and softball. Tim was a voracious reader and loved researching his genealogy. He was a proud Irish American who also traveled the world with Pat.
He is survived by his wife Patricia, son Christopher and daughters Patti Ann and Jeanmarie. Tim was predeceased by his sister Noreen, and brothers John and Robert.
Tim was known for his incredible sense of humor and respected by all that knew him. His smile was infectious and he loved to sing and dance. He was a great story teller and listener. Tim lived with integrity, kindness and devotion to his family and friends. To know him, was to love him. Slan go Foill ( irish: goodbye for now ).
