William “Bill” F. Turk, a long standing resident of Union County, NJ and St. Lucie County, FL, has passed away. He leaves behind two daughters; Kathleen M. Schatel and Diane M. Kirkham; three grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
Bill was a Navy Veteran of World War II and an unparalleled Patriot, as well as a member of the “American Legion” for more than Sixty Years. He held the Holidays of Memorial Day, the 4th of July and Veteran’s Day with “Solemn Remembrance.”
Bill, an avid golfer, bowler and sports enthusiast was active in all sports throughout his life. For all of us who knew Bill well, he was best known for his strong allegiance to the New York Football “GIANTS!” In the 2007 and 2011 seasons, the Super Bowls became the pinnacle of Bill’s recollection…, God, Country, Family and Sports. All of us will sorely miss your presence and your zeal for enjoying Life, “Pop.” It is with Love, Affection and Admiration that we say farewell.
