

Agnes was born in Portland on December 25, 1910 a daughter of Michael J. and Mary O. Johnson Murray. She attended Portland schools.
Agnes was employed by the former Gannett Publishing Co, (Portland Press Herald) for more than 30 years until her retirement in 1976. She was a communicant of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, and a member of Senior Citizens group at the Salvation Army.
She leaves her son Herbert M. MacDonald of Elk Grove Village, Ill, a grandson James H. MacDonald, M.D., and his wife Eilene P. MacDonald, M.D., of Annapolis, Md., twin great-grandchildren James & Lauren, and great-granddaughter Charlotte, great-grandson Henry, and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no visiting hours. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, October 22, 2011 at 11AM at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. Interment will be private. Arrangements are under the care of Jones, Rich & Hutchins Funeral Home, 199 Woodford St., Portland, Maine.
