

Antoinette L. Risbara, 93, of Gorham and previously of Brighton Avenue in Portland, passed away Wednesday October 26, 2011 at St. Andre Healthcare in Biddeford. She was born March 22, 1918 in Westbrook the daughter of the late Napolean and Judith (Gallant) Fournier.
Ann was educated in Westbrook, Maine. She was a parishioner at St. Joseph's and St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Ann enjoyed knitting, sewing, gardening, cards and playing beano. She enjoyed traveling to Florida, Canada and Hawaii. She was also a past member of the Daughter of Isabella's.
One of Ann's favorite pastimes was cooking for her family when she was able . Her family meant the world to her.
Antoinette was employed at Dana Warp Mill and S.D. Warren where she worked in the finishing department.
In previous years you would see Ann sitting in her yard watching all that was going on with her niece, Grace Risbara, who passed away a few years ago.
Antoinette is survived by her two children: Frank Risbara and his wife Janice of Gorham, and Judith Lawrence of Florida; four grandchildren: Ann Marie Leighton, Dawn Flaherty and her husband Russell, Gene Leighton and Crystal Butts and her husband Charles; She will also be missed by her great-grandson Matthew Leighton.
Antoinette was predeceased by her husband Frank Risbara in 1981 and her siblings: Angie, Lorette, Emile, and Bernadette.
The family would like to thank the staff at Park Danforth, St. Andre Healthcare and SolAmor Hospice for their loving care of Antoinette during her time of need.
A Funeral Service will be held 10 am Monday, October 31, 2011 at Jones, Rich & Hutchins Funeral Home, 199 Woodford St, Portland. Interment will follow at Brooklawn Memorial Park.
