Portland- Betty Ann Dennison, 95, passed away on Monday, February 14, 2022 in Scarborough. The daughter of Arlton and Helen (Davis) Griffin she was born in South Portland on January 23, 1927. She was a member of St. Luke’s Cathedral in Portland, and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW. She retired from Unum where she worked as a receptionist. Before working at Unum she worked with her father at the family business A.L. Griffin Ship Chandlery.
Betty was predeceased by her husband George Dennison her son Allan Dennison and her brother Arlton Griffin.
She is survived by her son Bruce Dennison and his wife Ianina Riviere-Dennison of Leesburg Virginia, her son Richard Dennison of Windham, 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Services will be private. Interment will take place in Brooklawn Memorial Park at a later date.
