It was a privilege to know Charles , aka"Hank" over the years.  He had an energy and a spirit that were infectious.  He was such a generous and sensitive soul, always at the ready to help someone else.  I and many others will miss you, "man."  Rest in peace.

Hank was my dearest friend for the past 18 years.  He was like a father to my daughter Alyssa.  He liked to spend his weekends and spare time at the "farm" as he called, as it gave him peace of mind and kept him in tune with nature. He was family, and part of our every day lives.
We miss you....

My thoughts are with you today, Lauren. He sounds like an amazing man and dad.

He was my youngest brother but what I remember most about Hankie is how much he loved his daughter Lauren and how proud he was of all her accomplishments. We remember the great enjoyment of sharing stories about his pet rat and the sorrow he shared with us when Jinx died. We also shared our mutual love of music during our late nite talks. He loved his Taylor guitar and he would play songs for us over the phone. Growing up we loved fishing together at Lake Cajaw. Hankie will always be a part of our lives. We will always remember the anticipation of waiting for him to call and the excitement when we would hear his voice.

I am so grateful to have known Charles. We had some very meaningful talks over time, and I will forever remember his compassion, strong work ethic, intelligence, and humor. I'll truly miss his presence, more than words can adequately express... May he rest in peace now.    Marianne
