

She was born in Portland the daughter of Domenico and Camilla DiBiase Dalfonso where she attended local schools.
Sally married John D. Colucci, Sr., in January 1941.
She worked for Colonial T.V. at Mercy Hospital, and later was a waitress at Boone’s, Portlander and Lafayette Hotels.
Later in life she worked at the family stores, Merdeck’s and Colucci’s Hilltop Market until her retirement. Sally loved life and lived life to the fullest. She started the first concession stand for Little League Six out of the trunk of her car. One of her proudest achievements was being the first recipient of the Citizenship Award presented to her by Marada Adams School.
She was a communicant of St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church.
She was predeceased by husband in 1967, sister; Mary (Mancini) Colucci Gould, Angelina (Dalfonso) Cavallero, Antoinette (Dalfonso) Stanhope, and brother, Joseph A. Dalfonso.
Sally leaves 3 Sons; John, Jr. and his wife Anne Colucci, of Westbrook, Richard and his wife Jennifer Colucci of Portland, Joseph and his wife Susan Colucci of Rochester NH, a daughter, Bridget and her husband Anthony Jacobsky of Portland, Grandchildren; Donna, John & Angela Colucci, Lynne Marie, Anthony & Jeff Jacobsky, Rebecca and her husband John Renna, Katrina Nappi, Stephen Colucci, Sara and Matthew Colucci, Great-Grandchildren; Hayden Stockwell, Elena Dugal, Julian Lewis, Joseph Fusco, Lauren Colucci, Bridget and Bronson Jacobsky, Vivian Renna, Anthony, Sava and Rocco Nappi.
Relatives and friends are invited for a time of visitation on Thursday, January 23, 2014 from 9 to 10AM at Jones, Rich & Hutchins Funeral Home, 199 Woodford St, where at 10:15AM prayers will be recited at the funeral home to be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11AM at St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church, 72 Federal St with Fr. Lou Phillips as celebrant. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, So. Portland.
