David Alan Parsons

DAVID ALAN PARSONS (DAVE) 62 of Alfred passed away unexpectedly on July 11th at home. He was born November 28, 1963 in Portland, the son of Everett Raymond Parsons Sr and Dorothy Jean Trott Parsons.

Dave was a loving brother, father, grandfather, uncle, and spouse. Dave spent most of his time enjoying his family and loved ones. Most of all Dave enjoyed his love for NASCAR and racing was a given. Dave loved the woods and the water. His happy place was always camping with his children and taking long rides, getting lost in the mountains only to find his way back home. He spent many days and nights with his brothers Everett Jr and William at the Beech Ridge Motor Speedway. He also loved the horse track at Scarborough Downs where he spent many days with his brother-in-law’s and sons and nephews. Dave enjoyed golfing with his brother-in-law‘s. Dave loved his work and had a passion for painting houses. He loved to stay busy doing home projects, if it wasn’t fixing something or painting something it was building something.

Dave was a proud, father and grandfather. Dave love to be around his brothers and brother-in-law‘s and let’s not forget his sister-in-law‘s, nieces and nephews. He was a family man and everyone’s favorite. David enjoyed his time he spent at the AMVETS with his AMVETS family pulling those pull tabs. As Dave said his cardboard crack. Dave was the man that helped anyone even if he didn’t want to he still found his way to help. Dave enjoyed life to the fullest and he had plenty of friendships that grew into family.

David was pre deceased by his father Everett, his mother Dorothy, brother Raymond aka Baby Boy, brother Richard and brother and best friend William.

David leaves behind his spouse Phyllis Wildes of Portland, son David Cooper of Windham, daughter Amanda Willette of Old Orchard Beach, son Kevin Wildes of Portland, daughter Brittany Wildes of Alfred, daughter Krystal Wildes of Portland, and son Brandon Wildes of Portland. He also leaves 21 grandchildren, Isabella, Deanna, Alyssa, David, Jacob, Kevin, Alanna, Eliana ,Noah, Marcus, Cameron, Isaiah, Caleb, Mariah ,Xavier ,Grayson, Gabriel, Zion ChrisLyn, Tate, Daniel and three brothers Charles Parsons of Lewiston, Darrell Parsons of Portland, and Everett Parsons Jr of Standish. He leaves his brother and sister in law’s, nieces and nephews as well.
