David R. Stinson

David R. Stinson, 32, died unexpectedly on April 6, 2013. Dave had a twinkle in his eye and a smile that lit up the room. He is remembered and loved by friends and family for his quick wit and compassionate heart. His life was too short for the family and many friends that loved him, but he lived his life to the fullest and was happiest when he was skiing, fishing, hunting, hanging with friends or welding steel. Dave was in his third year as an apprentice welder with Local 716. He loved the work and found great satisfaction in it.

Dave is survived by his parents Robert and Marydee Stinson of Portland, a sister Robyn Stinson of Portland and Grandmother Lillian Stinson of Portland.

A 10:00 AM funeral service for Dave will be held this Thursday, April 11th at the Jones, Rich & Hutchins Funeral Home, 199 Woodford St. Portland, ME. Burial will follow at Brooklawn Memorial Park in Portland.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in his name to the scholarship fund at: Maine Journeyman Inc., 86 Walnut Hill Rd., North Yarmouth, ME 04097.

Care for Dave and his family has been entrusted to the Jones, Rich and Hutchins Funeral Home of Portland.
