A proud Navy Veteran, Don dedicated his life to service, both in the military and in his community. He worked for many years with SD Warren/Sappi, retiring in 2004.
Don was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Nancy Lebel, with whom he shared 27 years of marriage.

Don’s family and friends will always remember him for his infectious sense of humor and his ability to make people laugh. His laugh was as contagious as his kindness. He was a generous soul who was always ready to lend a helping hand. Don had a deep love for electronics and a passion for fixing things. He was never without his trusty toolbox, always ready to tackle a challenge. His love for black jelly beans was well-known among those who loved him, as was his lifelong fascination with tinkering and problem-solving.
He will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
