South Portland- Doris Elaine Morse, 80, formerly of Pembroke Street in Portland, died on April 14, 2019 at South Portland Nursing Home. She was born Jonesport, ME, a daughter of Amos and Leonice (Hayward) Tracy. Doris lived in Portland for most of her life. She enjoyed gardening, going to the races and listening to George Jones. She worked for One Hour Mortinizing as a clerk alongside her mother.
She was pre-deceased by her parents; brother, Amos Tracy II; sister, Emma Prindall; husbands, Kenneth Scoville II and Edward Gendrolis; son, Steven Scoville, and a grandson, Billy Munroe.
She is survived by her two sisters, Sally Gibson of Casco and Louise Schille of Standish; her loving children, Teresa McLeod of South Portland, Tammy Buck and her husband Kevin of New Gloucester and Robert Scoville of Casco; three grandchildren, Jenn Munroe, Steven Scoville and Brandon Buck; four great-grandchildren, Sonny Jacobs, Ashley Thurston, Ariana Badalucco and Emmitt Scoville.
Friends and family are invited to a time of visitation from 4-7 pm on Monday, April 22, 2019 at Jones Rich & Barnes Funeral Home, 199 Woodford St. Portland, where a funeral will be held at 11 am on Tuesday the 23rd. Burial at Forest City Cemetery will be at a later date.
