He belonged to the American Legion, VFW, and a member of the Marine Corp League.
He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Thelma (Betty) Cyr, 12 Children, many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to attend a time of visitation on Thursday December 19, 2013 from 2-4 PM at Jones, Rich & Hutchins Funeral Home, 199 Woodford St. Portland ME. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, December 20, 2013 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 672 Stevens Ave, Portland ME. Prayers will be recited at the funeral home on Friday at 9:15 AM.
