Edward G. Silcock, of Cape Elizabeth and Marco Island, Florida passed away on September 28, 2023 at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House, in Scarborough.
Ed was born September 11,1931 in Ozone Park, NY to William Edward & Ruth Walker Silcock. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from Farleigh Dickinson University while working full-time at Philip Morris Corporation in New York City. He started in the mailroom and later became treasurer handling all of the company’s domestic banking, and was proud to be an officer for the company.
Ed loved camping and fishing. He also was an avid stamp collector, and made friends all over the world with his hobby. He also loved taking long driving tours all over the entire the country.
Ed was predeceased by his first wife Muriel, and his daughter June Musollino.
He is survived by his wife Frances Winter Silcock of Cape Elizabeth, his daughter, Ruth-Ann Ingram and her husband Bob of Hillsborough, NJ, and their children; Cassie, Jeff and his wife Randee, and Julia Ingram. June’s children; Andrea Flieger and her husband Sean, Kevin Bisel, Jordan Bisel and his wife Megan, and his son-in-law Vincent Musollino, great-grandchildren, Jade Ingram, Ellie Bisel, and step-granddaughter, Isabella Musollino.
Also survived by Fran’s children; Robert Crawford and his wife Sheila, Craig and his wife Jane Crawford, Andrea and her husband Mark Smith and Mark Crawford. Grandchildren; Sean and his wife Jamie Crawford, Robb and his wife Katie Crawford, Ryan Smith, Amber and her husband Michael Jamison, Great-Grandchildren; Isabelle, Aiden and Addison Crawford, Parker and Graham Jamison, and Alaina and Luke Crawford.
Family and friends are invited to an Open House Celebration of Life at the Silcock’s home, 3 Kenyon Lane, Cape Elizabeth, ME, on Friday October 6, 2023 from 11AM to 1PM. Interment will take place at a later date at Brigadier General William Doyle Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in Arneytown, NJ.
