Dear Molly,
We are so sad to hear of Ed's passing.
I think often of the times I spent with Ed debating issues as his treasurer on the Bay Villas Board. It was a pleasure to work with him. And Margarita and I remember fondly the many good dinners the four of us had at Bonefish (halibut as often as possible!).
Our deepest sympathies to you and your family,
Margarita and Dieter Haussmann

Dear McDuffie Family ... Molly, I am so sorry to read that Ed has passed on to the Lord our God. I had the great pleasure of knowing Ed and being in your company for many years. Ed was always so kind, complimentary and caring in our opportunities to be together at the Community Center in Pelican Bay. He was always a bright, shining light to my days. I, personally, will miss him and his Massachusetts wit! Take good care and may God bless you and your family during this sad time. Fondly, Gwen Rasiwala - Pelican Bay

Dear Molly I am so sorry for your loss. You probably don't remember me, but Ed and I used to to double date with you and your sister for a while. Ed and i had some good times together and I often thought of you two and what was happening in your lives. I see you had a wonderful life together and am so happy for that.
Ed was had a great career following in his fathers path. Much love to you and the girls. George Foley

I consider myself terribly lucky to have known and worked with Captain Ed for about 35 years. He was an incredible human being, and we will all miss him.

Years ago I trailed a Boston Whaler to Rockland, Maine. Ed met me there, launched the boat and drove me with his son in law over to Vinal Haven to visit a big lobster processing plant. We had a wonderful, fun day doing it. I loved him, and miss him.

Dan and I will so miss our "street friendship and conversations"
with the Captain. He gave a most gracious new friendship when we
first moved on to Pine Ridge Rd and it continued for forty years.
He always inquired about our children after they moved on and he
asked us not to move off the street when he heard we were moving.
My most fond memory is of the Captain's award to me for winning
the "most number of drives up and down Pine Ridge Rd in a day".
He so appreciated the busy life of mother of four children and all
the extras! Our love and prayers to Molly and family . Our love,
wonderful memories and prayers to our " Captain". Phyllis , Dan, and Family

Captain Ed was a customer at Dons Power Equipment for many years I would enjoy his conversations about pilot adventures. Of all my customers Captain Ed was the most interesting. I met him and his wife a few years back on a trip to Portland. Always great to see Captain Ed.

My mother, Edna Shattuck, worked with Capt Ed, Sr at Moran Towing for a number of years. She always had nice comments about the entire family, including Capt Ed. Jr. I have many memories of many of the employees there and going on the tugboat when they launched ships from BIW.
My sincere sympathy to the whole family.
