Salisbury, MD-Frank O. Chapin age 92 Died Thursday April 15, 2010. Following military service in the US Navy, He became a longtime resident of Portland, Maine. He was employed by the Portland Press Herald for many years. He was married to Marjorie McLean for 44 years until her death in 1990. In 1992, he married Julia Loreman and moved to Maryland.
He was predeceased by his son James and is lovingly survived by James wife Julia of Salisbury, MD, a son Donald and his wife Susan of Amherst, NH, a daughter in law Victoria of Old Orchard Beach, ME, a brother Willard of FL, step daughters Margaret Tongue of Stockton, MD, Mary Ann Loreman of Hillsborough, NC, 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren, and 3 step great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday evening April 21 from 6 to 8 PM in the Jones, Rich & Hutchins Funeral Home 199 Woodford St. Portland, ME. A graveside service will be held on Thursday at 10:00 AM in the Brooklawn Memorial Park.
