Biddeford- Gloria L. Edwards, 92, of Portland, passed away June 30, 2013 at Southern Maine Medical Center. The daughter of Carl R & Vivien (Brannan) Edwards, she was born on August 1, 1920 in Bangor Maine. Ms. Edward was a lifelong member of the Woodfords Congregational Church, where she served as a deacon, the church secretary and taught Sunday school for many years. She was past president of the Forest City Ladies Auxiliary, past secretary of Read School, and past secretary of the Pine Tree School Chapter of American Theater. Gloria was known for her love of cats. She is survived by her daughter Gloria L. Seaver, of Saco Maine, two granddaughters Joleen A. Kittredge and her husband Lenord, and Jodie L. Mills both of Saco, and her three great grandchildren, Laura L. Mills, David M. Kittredge, and Glorianna S. Kittredge. She also leaves her 23 year old cat, Sis, who resides with her daughter in Saco. Interment will be private at Forest City Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Jones, Rich & Hutchins Funeral Home, 199 Woodford St. Portland.
