He was born in Freeport, June 25, 1929, a son of Weldon and Edna Brawn Rogers. He attended Freeport schools and had been a lifelong resident of Freeport. Mr. Rogers had worked in the lumber industry.
He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Ward Rogers of Freeport and a sister, Dorothy E. Nichols of Portland.
A graveside service will be held Friday June 23 at 11 a.m. in The Flying Point Cemetery, Flying Point Road, Freeport.
