

Greenville S.C. - James Michael Freudenberger, 48, died from injuries sustained in a car accident in Greenville, SC, on October 24, 2014. Jim was born in Abington, PA, on November 13, 1965. He was a graduate of Bonny Eagle HS, in Standish, ME, and Andover College, in Portland, ME. He served in the US Army and was stationed in Panama during that time. A long time SC resident, Jim was predeceased by his wife Linda and his father William Sr. He is survived by his daughter Kacie, of Asheville NC, his mother, Florence, of Palmyra, ME, his 5 brothers and their wives, Bill and Jody, of Palmyra ME, Karl and Renee, of Windham, ME, Richard and Laurie, of Gray TN, Dale and Erin, of Asheville NC, and Scott of Whitefish MT. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was a member of the Brookwood Church in Simpsonville, SC, where Jim participated in the choir and activities there. A memorial service will be held at his church on Sunday November 2, 2014 at 2:00 PM. Interment will be held at the Wilde Memorial Chapel in Evergreen Cemetery, 672 Stevens Ave. in Portland ME on Saturday, November 8, at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers donations in James’ memory may be made to the Brookwood Church, 580 Brookwood Point Place, Simpsonville, SC 29681. Arrangements are under the care of Jones, Rich & Hutchins Funeral Home, 199 Woodford St. Portland ME. You are loved, Jim, and we will miss you.
