Jean G. Bachman of the Portland area passed away unexpectedly at home in her sleep on May 30th. Jean was born on December 2nd 1934. Jean retired after 20yrs working in the banking trust department with casco northern bank and retired from Legg Mason in 2008. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, John Bachman; her children, Jay Bachman; Janet Rush and husband Randy Rush; Jenifer Burmeister and husband LCDR Shawn Burmeister; and her brother and sister, Roy Gilbert and Phyllis Gilbert. She had five grandchildren, Tara Taylor; Jeremy Taylor and wife Shannon; Spencer Burmeister; PFC Brandon Burmeister; Marcella Burmeister and three great grandchildren, Emma Allen-Taylor; Sierra Hilb; and Addison Taylor.
There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at Christchurch, 1900 Congress Street, Portland, Maine on Thursday June 5th, 2014 at 2pm. There is no Interment at this time. On-line condolences can be given to the family at www.jonesrichandhutchins.com.
