Jeannette loved to crochet and crocheted blankets for all her family and friends. Her family predicts she made close to 1000 blankets in her lifetime and most every family member, near and far, have one.
She also enjoyed playing scrabble and could pretty much beat anyone that played against her. She loved to get the paper each morning to do the crip-to-quip and crossword puzzle.
Jeannette had a great sense of humor right up to the very end. Most important to her was her faith in Jesus and her savior and prayed continually for her family.
She was pre-deceased by her parents and husband, Raymond E. Holmes.
