

Portland – Katherine J. Winslow passed away Saturday, December 29th at the age of 81 due to complications from pneumonia and Parkinson’s disease. She was a loving mother and homemaker who lived to make baked goods for people.
She was born in Portland, February 2, 1931, the middle of seven children born to Bernard S. and Katherine Cilley. She was predeceased by her brothers, Bernard E. Cilley and Herbert Cilley. She was the widow of Charles R. Winslow. She is survived by her daughter Rebecca W. DeCuir and Jeff DeCuir, her son Lawrence P. Arsenault and his wife Susan Boyd, several Grandchildren: Jason L. Arsenault-Leavitt and his wife Helen, Joseph DeCuir, Tyler and Melissa DeCuir, two sister in laws Mrs. Pauline Cilley and Mrs. Camille Cilley, as well as several Great-Grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her sisters, Bertha LePan, Winona Cilley, Jane and Paul Sampson, Philip and Isabelle Cilley.
Most recently Katherine resided at St. Joseph’s Rehab and Residence with many of her friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a time of visitation on Friday January 4 from 11 A.M. to 12P.M. at Jones, Rich & Hutchins Funeral Home 199 Woodford St. Portland, Maine. A funeral service will follow at 12P.M. in the funeral home. Interment will be in the spring at Forest City Cemetery in Portland.
