Larry R Cox

Larry was the son of the late Madiline (Allan) Cox and Francis Cox. He was a devoted father to his daughter, Erin Ware of Portland, and a proud grandfather who cherished every moment spent with his grandchildren.

Larry was preceded in death by his siblings Patricia Cox, Rita (Cox) Stein, Philip Cox, and Judy Maddocks. He is survived by his brother Brian Cox and his wife Cindy of Portland, and his sister Carolyn Waters and her husband Roni, also of Portland. Larry shared a special bond with his nephew, Timothy Cox, who was more like a brother, and his wife Donna Higgins. He also leaves behind many beloved nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.

Larry’s warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for his family will be deeply missed. His legacy of love and laughter will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

A graveside service to honor Larry’s life will be held at 1pm on March 21, 2025 at Forest City Cemetery in South Portland (232 Lincoln St, South Portland, ME 04106).
